Prof. Alexander Y. Livhsin, Associate Dean for International Cooperation, School of Public Administration, Moscow State University arrived at the National University of Public Service within the Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility program. Prof. Livshin as a guest of the Faculty of Science of Public Governance and Administration held several lectures on the following topics: Nonprofit Management; Social Entrepreneurship and Social Investment; Philanthropy in Russia and the World; Modern Russian and Soviet History; The History of Government and Public Administration in Russia. Research areas such as Nonprofit Management; Government – Business – NGOs: Problems of Interaction and Partnership; Modern Russian and Soviet History; Russian Politics, Labor Market are in the focus of his scientific activity.
As a closing event of his program a workshop on NGO-s was organized with the participation of the staff and PhD students of the faculty. Professor Livshin shared his thoughts about the current situation of NGOs in Russia. After the short introduction the participants of the workshop made comments on the topic using their own experience and asked several questions.
